A vintage French engagement ring centering a 2.62 carat old European cut diamond, J color and SI2 clarity. The center diamond is set in prongs. Single cut diamonds are set across the curved shoulders. The under-gallery is decorated with a twist design. The total weight of the additional diamonds is approximately 0.15 carats. This ring was handcrafted in platinum during the Retro era, circa 1950. The shank bears a French export mark. The measurements of the center diamond are approximately 9.60mm x 9.50mm x 4.59mm.
