Verdun Ring. Circa 1945, Vintage, Retro Era

A Retro era French ring that features an old European cut diamond weighing 2.31 carats, L color and VS1 clarity. The center diamond is set in double prongs which extend from the under-gallery. A scalloped-edge metal halo surrounds the center diamond. The shoulders are set with approximately 0.08 carats of additional old European cut diamonds and decorated with fine milgrain. This ring is platinum on 18k white gold. The approximate measurements of the center diamond are 8.11mm x 8.23mm x 5.36mm. The total diamond weight of this ring is approximately 2.39 carats.
